NETCO is Nigeria's first national engineering company and its wholly
owned subsidiary of the (NNPC), NETCO was established in 1989 to
provide an effective and reliable engineering base for the NNPC group
and the entire oil and gas Industry. Its services, which extend to the
rest of the Nigerian economy and beyond, comprise: Feasibility studies,
Conceptual Design, Procurement, Construction Supervision, Project
Management. The company is well equipped with the latest technology in
Engineering Design, Project Controls, Procurement, Project management,
Administration, Public Affairs, Finance & Accounts and QA/QC. It
now has 3-D modeling capability.
The
company's vision which is to be a world-class engineering company, is
gradually being realised especially as Bureau Veritas Quality
International awarded it the ISO 9001 Quality Certification effective
from April 18,2000. With this achievement, NETCO continues to strive to
exceed customers' requirements through continuous demonstration of
quality.
NETCO
is willing to consider and go into alliance or partnership with
international engineering firms to execute EPC projects in the oil
& gas industry. This is more so as NETCO is now the most
technologically well established indigenous engineering company in
Nigeria.
NETCO
has executed several engineering projects in Nigeria including the
detailed engineering design of the onshore portion of the NNPC/Chevron
Nigeria Limited's Escravos Gas Development Project Phase.
This
project, involving about 143,000 man-hours of engineering work, is
still the largest and most technologically complex engineering effort
ever undertaken within Nigeria by Nigerians.

engineering of part of Elf's Amenam/Kpono offshore platform AMPI;
detailed engineering of parts of SNEPCC's Bonga FPSO project on behalf
of AMEC; participation in the FEEDS for CHEVRON's Escravos Gas Project

Engineering of the Condensate Sta bilisation Unit of the Nigeria LNG
plant at Bonny Island for the consortium of Contractors- TSKJ;
conceptual Design of Cawthorne Channel Gas Injection/Supply Project in
association with Technique Geoproduction; detailed Design for the
Refurbishment of four Offshore Platforms for TOPCON; front-end
Engineering Design of an FPSO for ASHLAND in association with Granherne
Limited; 34 flow Stations Safety Upgrade and As-Built Documentation in
SHELL's Western Division; detailed Design of a Crude Oil Delivery Line
Including Pig Launcher and Manifold Tie-in, Management of the Turn
Around Maintenance (TAM) of Nigeria's four Refineries with total
capacity of 445,000bpdd.
As
the oil and gas industry continues to open up with many on-coming
projects. NETCO's past performance and its expertise have placed it in
a vantage position to participate even more actively in such projects.
